Trisha was losing herself, because all this time she only had Adhira to call her everything—and now, seeing her lifeless like this was breaking her. She couldn't handle her sight anymore and ran out of the room.

"How is Aru?" Ritu asked. The restlessness on her face was clearly visible.

"Massi, I swear to God, I will beat the shit out of her... let her wake up!" Trisha fumbled.

"Hum tino milkar maarenge bacchi usse." Ritesh replied, placing his hand on Trisha's shoulder as a gesture to comfort her.

"Trisha, you stay here. We will be back—we have to complete some formalities." Ritesh spoke, and Trisha nodded.

She sat on the bench placed in the corridor, and her eyes caught a Radha-Krishna frame. She stared at it as if she was very angry with a family member.

"Aapne mujhse mere maa-baba ko chheen liya, Krishna... lekin meri Aru ko kuch hua toh main aapki taraf dekhungi bhi nahi."

These words might seem ordinary for someone who has lost someone special—but for someone like Trisha, who lost her parents at a very young age and treated Krishna ji as her brother, her friend, it was very difficult.

A tear escaped her eyes as she tried to adjust to her own words.

"Who is Ms. Adhira's family?" the doctor questioned.

"Doctor, I am... is she okay?" Trisha asked, fear in her voice—as if she was about to lose her world all over again.

"She is awake. You can meet her."

Trisha ran—she ran without hearing anything else.

She opened the door, and the sight of her best friend looking at her with a smile made her cry again—but this time, with happiness.

"Tu mujhe chhod ke ja rahi thi?" Trisha questioned, walking towards her bed.

Adhira replied with a song—

"Tenu chhad ke kitthe jawaan,

Tu mera parchhanvaa,

Tere mukhde vich hi main taan,

Rab nu apne paawaan..."

Yes, she replied with a song—and guess what... her Trisha, who was crying for so long, finally smiled.

"Tune hi kaha tha ki tu mere bina kaise jeetegi... toh tujhe haarne kaise deti?" she said, opening her arms, welcoming her bestie for a tight hug.

"As I promised, Isha... here is your hug."

The room was filled with Trisha's anger turning into happiness—and Adhira's unspoken emotions.

"You didn't even think once about us, Aru?" Ritesh said as he entered with his wife.

On seeing them, the two besties broke their hug.

"Papa..." the word escaped Adhira's mouth as if a newborn child had spoken for the first time.

"Hum the na tere saath... kaise haarne dete tujhe? Yeh sab karne ki kya zarurat thi, Aru? Suicide? Kyun, Aru?" Ritesh spoke, hugging his precious daughter as if he had come back from a battle and was seeing her for the first time.

"I am sorry, Papa... I am very sorry..."

Adhira, who hadn't shed a single tear for so long, finally cried in her father's arms. After a month of suffering alone—she gave up. She finally cried.

"Aru..." Ritu came near her and said, "Aru, promise me you will never hurt yourself again... please, Aru."

Adhira looked at her mother and, after a month, finally spoke to her—

"I promise you, Maa... I will never hurt myself again."

"Adhira..." Trisha spoke, gaining everyone's attention.

Adhira's eyes widened, because she knew—whenever Trisha used her full name, something serious was coming.

"Isha... no... no, I am feeling sleepy..."

"Oh really? You're feeling sleepy? Dekho, Uncle, dekho Massi—after all the things she did, phir bhi kitni besharmi se bol rahi hai!" Trisha said in a high pitch.

"Papa, I am very sleepy..." Adhira said, faking a yawn.

"You are answerable to her, Aru. You guys talk—we will ask the doctor about your discharge."

"And now, you will answer all my questions, Ms. Adhira Aggarwal." Trisha said as the couple left them alone.

"Are we really doing this?" Adhira questioned.

"Yes, darling, we are doing this—and that too right now."

Adhira sighed. "Okay, go ahead."

"Why?"

Trisha's first question made Adhira lower her head. Her reply came in a low, trembling voice—

"What... why?"

"Don't play with me, Adhira. You know what I'm talking about."

"Can you first call me Aru... the situation will be less tense for me..." Adhira said with a puppy face.

"Aru. Please." Trisha said, slightly annoyed.

"Umm... okay."

"Now tell me—why?"

"He... he touched me..." Adhira spoke.

Trisha's eyes widened.

After a pause, Adhira continued—

"Without my consent... he touched me. I screamed, I cried—but I couldn't help myself."

"Did you fight, Adhira?"

Trisha's question made Adhira fall silent—because she knew she didn't fight.

"Let's go file an FIR, Aru." Trisha spoke firmly.

"I loved him."

And it was enough. That answer was enough for Trisha to understand that her best friend had lost a part of herself—and she couldn't heal it easily.

"So what are you going to do?" Trisha finally asked.

"I will leave everything behind... and start a new life."

"You will leave Barsana?" Trisha asked.

"Yes. I won't be able to live here."

"We can take you home now, Aru." her father said, entering.

"Let's go then." Adhira replied with a slight excitement.

"Aru, I am saying this once again—please don't hurt yourself again."

"I promise, Papa, I won't do it. And yes... ab main wapas aa gayi hoon na... ab meri kahani mein maza aayega."
